Conditioning Clinic 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM	This clinic is built around fencing conditioning, planning the season, and nutrition and mental preparation pertaining to the preliminary stage of training. The Seminar will be given by Jon Moss - FIE certified referee, member of the US Fencing Officials Commission.

Saturday, 9/15 -  9 am - 5pm - Topics will cover the basics of refereeing, proper conduct of referees, enforcement of the rules, among many others.  The written test can be taken at the end of the seminar OR Sunday morning.
Sunday, 9/16 - 8 am - Written test for those who opted out of the previous day's offering.  The practical test will be given during the competition. 

Cost: $75 for both seminar and tests
Please note that all participants must be USFA members, you can join/renew on Saturday.

Events will be held in all three weapons.
For each weapon and age category, awards will be given to the top three boys and top three girls.
For Y10 and Y12 fencers, attending an RYC will qualify that individual for the Summer Nationals.
All fencers must be current USFA members. You must bring your membership card, or become a USFA Member at the door.
Full USFA uniform is required, including mask, jacket, plastron, fencing knickers, knee-length socks, lame, and glove.
Each fencer will be required to have two working electric weapons (foil, epee, or saber, as appropriate), and two working body cords.
All Y10 fencers will be required to use size "0" or size "2" blades (i.e., less than 32.5 inches long).

The registration fee is $15 plus $25 for each event fenced.

IFC Dominick Epee Challenge 8:00 AM Open Women's Epee 9:00 AM Youth 14 Epee 9:30 AM Open Men's Epee Team Epee will begin as soon as Open Men's Epee finishes.	The Illinois Fencers Club would like to invite epee fencers from around the Midwest and Great Lakes Sections to our fifth annual Dominick Epee Challenge. USFA weapon and safety rules will be enforced.  Complete uniforms, knee-length socks, punch test on masks, and at least two working weapons and body cords will be required.  Registration closes at the times listed. USFA Membership is required. Fees: $20 for individual event IF you pre-register by Friday, April 27.  Otherwise, the entry fee will be $25 after that date.  Women can fence in the men's event for $10 if they fence in the corresponding women's event. If there are less than 6 women in the women's event, they can fence in the men's event for free.
	Team Event The team event fee is $45 per team.  Teams are made up of three primary fencers and one alternate (if you have one).  The format for the team event is a relay to 45 touches, 9 bouts, with every primary fencer from one team fencing every primary fencer from another.  The complete USFA Team Competition rules that we will be using can be found by clicking here. Seeding for the team event will be based on the combined scores of the team members from the individual competition. Scores from the Men's or Women's events count the same for seeding the team event. In the event of a tie in seeding, a coin will be tossed
